‘Owlie’ is an unusual portrait side view of a white and grey owl, its piercing yellow beak centres the painting. The background is an abstract interpretation of a green forest with the hit of water within it. The eye captures the focus of the painting reflecting the light that bounces off the surroundings. Each individual feather is painted in a fluffy whippy way and rings around the owls face.
